ALMA EXPERIENCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

1. BOOKING & PAYMENT

  • Retreat Price:
    $3,500 USD per person

    Early Bird Offer:

    • $250 USD off if booked by Sunday, April 19th, 2026

    Payment Structure:

    • 25% deposit due upon booking 

    • 25% due by April 1, 2026 

    • 25% due by April 16, 2026 

    • Final balance due upon arrival 

    Full Payment Option:

    • Receive a 5% discount when paying 100% upfront

    Cancellation Policy:

    • All payments are non-refundable

    Payment Methods:

    • Bank transfer

    • Wise transferA deposit of 25% of the total retreat price is required to secure your spot.

  • All payments are non-transferable unless approved in writing.

  • If ALMA Surf Lodge cancels the event for any circumstances, you will be refunded 100%.

3. RETREAT INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS

Included:

  • Accommodation at ALMA Surf Lodge

  • Daily guided surf sessions and coaching - by panga and truck

  • Surf video analysis sessions

  • Surfboards

  • Airport transfers (arrival and departure within scheduled windows)

  • Select meals (Mauka, ALMA Restaurant and TORA Izakaya, and roof top dinner at ALMA as specified)

  • Catamaran surf excursion

  • Scheduled group activities (yoga, recovery sessions, etc.)

  • (2) meal passes to ALMA Restaurant to be used for lunch or breakfast.

Not Included:

  • Flights and travel costs

  • Alcohol beyond hosted events (unless otherwise specified)

  • Select offsite meals (e.g., Sayulita dinner, etc.)

  • Optional activities and personal expenses

  • Travel insurance (strongly recommended)

4. ITINERARY CHANGES

  • ALMA reserves the right to adjust the itinerary due to weather, surf conditions, safety concerns, or operational needs.

  • Any changes will be made with the intent to maintain or improve the overall guest experience.

5. SURF & ACTIVITY DISCLAIMER

  • Participation in surf sessions and related activities is at your own risk.

  • Guests must disclose any relevant medical conditions prior to arrival.

  • ALMA is not responsible for injuries sustained during activities, including surfing, boating, or fitness sessions.

6. TRAVEL & INSURANCE

  • Guests are responsible for their own travel arrangements.

  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended, including coverage for cancellations, medical emergencies, and activity-related risks.

7. GUEST RESPONSIBILITY

  • Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, instructors, and other guests.

  • ALMA reserves the right to remove any guest from the retreat without refund if behavior is deemed unsafe or disruptive.

8. ROOMING & SHARED ACCOMMODATIONS

  • There are (8) spots available in the retreat.

  • ALMA Surf Lodge reserves the right to increase the number of spots available up to 10 guests.

  • Shared accommodations are not permitted.

  • All rooms will be assigned at the discretion of ALMA Surf Lodge. 

  • Room assignments will be prioritized in order of booking, with larger rooms allocated to early reservations.

9. MEDIA RELEASE

  • By attending the retreat, guests consent to being photographed and filmed for marketing purposes.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

  • ALMA is not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, government actions, or travel disruptions.

11. LIABILITY WAIVER

  • By booking and attending, guests acknowledge and accept all risks associated with participation.

  • Guests agree to release ALMA Surf Lodge and its partners from liability for any injury, loss, or damages incurred during the retreat.

12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

  • By submitting payment, guests confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
